Here is what our Customers are saying About us
amongst the top attractions in Ireland I think this is the most underrated tourist facility in Ireland. It is amazing and deserves to be in the top selection of things to do in Ireland.
The cafe / bistro here is amongst the best you will find anywhere. Great choices, great food, great service just a real treat and joy to find.
This was the second time to visit and it was breakfast - easily among the BEST breakfast in Ireland ( and I have had quite a few). If you are close by its a treat. The boxty with the poached egg was the best included in the cooked breakfast. The Bacon tasted the best. Sausages also.
The whole place is a joy to visit, shop at and a real treat. Keep up the good work and high standards.
Amazing Tour with the knowledgeable Grace McKeon We had lunch while we were waiting for a tour to commence. Lunch was fab. We had Grace McKeon giving us the tour and she was knowledgeble, professional and wanting to help. When she told us she was only 18 years old, we couldn’t but think the contribution Grace could and will make to Irish tourism.
The Distillery is a must to visit if you’re in the area. What a wonderful invention by PJ. Rigney. We had the cocktail complimentary drink at the end and it was lovely and relaxing to sit at the bar and chat to the staff, who all seem happy and interested in what they did. Well done all around and thanks Grace.
Do the tour!! Came here to the tour with family who lives locally. The place is absolutely beautiful, with each room upstaging the next. The serving platters for the whiskey tasting were wonderfully arranged. I learned so much about the different whiskeys and gins! Our tour guide Aine was very kind and knowledgeable, happy to answer any questions during the tour. The bar after the tour had a beautiful glass ceiling, so it was a fun spot to enjoy our free drink at the end of the tour. I’m not huge into whiskey or gin but would still highly recommend this tour!! We enjoyed food at the cafe after, the soup and Caesar salad were both very tasty. Plenty of parking and very nice gift shop. Definitely a place to visit!
Best spirits tour in Ireland This tour was one of the best tour experiences I’ve had in the industry. I work in beer sales and often tour breweries, wineries and distilleries when I travel. This place stood out due to its unique interior design, excellent sampling experience, and passionate tour guide (Anya! I hope I spelled that right). She answered all of our questions patiently and explained the history and significance of gunpowder spirits all over the world. Safe to say I’ll be asking for gunpowder in my G&T for the foreseeable future. Loved it so much I stayed for lunch and couldn’t get enough of the sweet potato butternut squash soup! Cheers and be back soon!!!
