Amazing Experience!! I had the absolute pleasure of visiting The Shed Distillery recently. The tour was engaging, informative, and full of fascinating insights!
Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. The attention to detail in the distillery itself is incredible – from the gleaming copper pot stills to the warm, inviting atmosphere throughout.
The tasting session was a real highlight. Each spirit had its own unique character, and it was clear that so much care and pride goes into making them. I also loved the café – a cosy spot to relax afterwards with delicious food and coffee.
Whether you’re a gin lover, a whiskey fan, or just someone looking for a great day out, The Shed Distillery is well worth a visit. I’ll definitely be recommending it to friends and family.

Left with a bottle or two... Absolutely loved our visit to The Shed Distillery! The tour was fun, full of great stories, and you can tell the team really loves what they do. The tasting was a treat, everything was delicious, and they explain it all in a way that makes you appreciate it even more.

Fun Tour Finally got round to doing the tour and we had a great time. Our guide Aoibhe was really good and she had a great balance of knowledge and entertainment. Lots to pack in to the hour starting with a film, learning about the distilling process and history of The Shed itself and ending with drinks in the Honey Badger bar. The ‘gin room’ was the best filled with quirky items but what a shame we couldn’t take photos. Enjoyed the whiskey tasting experience but it’s hard to beat the gin! Enjoyed a relaxed drink in the bar followed by lunch in the ever excellent Jackalope Cafe - the Thornhill Duck Yaki Udon was absolutely delicious and great service despite being busy. Fantastic shop, super gift ideas and having preciously purchased the limited edition panda bottle I couldn’t leave without a Fig and Laurel Gunpowder Gin to try at home. A fun couple of hours - highly recommended.
